I mailed it back to Mid West, first class, with a note. The next day or so I received a brief note from Fred Whitehead. He had apparently received a letter from you saying I had not yet received my book. So, I, at once, dashed off a note to him, about my check, my book, & the other book, etc. His note is dated Sept. 25th. Have heard nothing more from him so, guess it is all straightened out. I just remember. That name was Baumgarten, Arthur. double underlined: I think.
I didn't write you you had said you would be going to Columbia in early Oct.
