6/13/84 Dear Jack - Hi!

   We received a clipping from a St. Louis paper  Probably the Post about Jack Conroy Day in Moberly.  It sounded like a very good turn out for you.  We are happy for you.
    Duke wanted to be there, but I didn't want to drive so far & Kansas City was as close as we could get him by plane.  He didn't know how he could get the rest of the way.  The girls at Eastern said Moberly was 70 miles at least.  
    As it turned out, I was in hospital with chest pains.  I have angina.
