1-18-80 Dearest Jack -

   How are you?!!   I'm very sorry about Gladys.  Good of you to want to keep her home.  But it has got to be a lot of work for you.  you sound like you are holding up well, though.  Are all your grandchildren gone from Moberly?  Doesn't Gladys' sister help  you?  you can't afford to get down too -  It must be 12, 13 yers since we were there at you home.  We have been gone from St. Louis 11 years now.
   Jack, I am sending a check to Court's Bookstore (53 00) for three books.
   One is for a friend of ours.  you have met her.  We took her to
