 It was good to hear about your new book, underline Writers in Revolt /underline last year.
  Wonder of wonders, we got to see Dave Wagoner in '74 !! He gave a poetry reading in May, at

Indiana Univ. - South Bend campus. (during their Writers Conference) John & I drove down to So. B. and stayed with our friend there, Elaine Hemley. The next day, we brought Dave to Kalamazoo, for an afternoon reading at W.M.U. (Western Mich. Univ.) and an evening reading at Kalamazoo College. All 3 programs were great!! Such a fine writer! His latest poetry bk. is now out from Ind. U. Press - underline Sleeping in The Woods./underline double underline Another /underline novel will be out, next spring or summer. Incredible! We've been very concerned about Patt W., who is recovering from surgery for breast cancer. Surgery was in Oct., and the outlook is good, Dave reports. But

on side My folks celebrated their Golden anniv. in Sept. They live in Sawyer, Mich. - 60 miles from us.
