Dear Jack and Gladys,
A Joyous Christmas to you, and we hope you enjoy singing this song by John and my brother. Jack, will you please give the other copy to Win Stracke? I'd be proud iffen [sic] he'd like to sing it
sometime, as a solo. We have a marvelous record of him singing folk songs - enjoy it so much. sometimes, on Capt. Kangaroo's show, we hear Win's voice on a record singing "Here comes Mr. Mailman," also one about building a house. I can't find these - please ask Win what company recorded these, whether they're in an album, or what! Thanks. blue and red asterisks
Our biggest news is that Dave Wagoner got married last summer - to a Patricia, and now they are
living at P.O. Box 85, Woodenville, Wash. Dave is on a sabbatical this year. He reports that Patt is a marvelous dancer and painter. Aside from that we know nothing about her. Dave is still busy writing.
Tieing [sic] for 1st place in the "biggest news" department is this: John's 2nd
