letterhead WIN STRACKE 411 EUGENIE STREET CHICAGO 14, ILLINOIS

Aug 18 '59 Dear Brother

By this time you and Gladys have moved, no doubt, to a new vineyard. I trust that you have drunk from the living waters of Midlothian and that you both have come up visibly refreshed. Give Margaret Jean my Warm regards and tell her that sister Ruth Plunket will never replace her in my affections. -- Prayer Hankerchief [sic] indeed!
Studs, Gig and I were in you old neighborhood about two weeks ago and attended an inspiring service at the Stratford Revival Center. Brother A. A. Allen was preaching the Word and Joy, shouting and dancing confounded the Devil aplenty. I think with a little more work and prayer we could bring our two Jewish bretheren [sic] over the line.
