April 19, 1967 Dear Jack & Gladys,

 Thank you so very much for the card you sent. I'm glad to hear that you are

pleased that we have named our first son after Willard. He is a wonderful baby and wish that Willard were still alive to see it. I cannot come all the way to Missouri to show you the boy, but will do the next best thing and send you a photo of him.

 I have written twice to Flossie without an answer, but I have found out now that

her and Sammy are in California, so she has not received my letters. They sent me a postcard saying that they would be returning
