Dear Jack:

     Thanks for your good letter of February 26th and the enclosed clipping - I'm still interested int the Negro doctor problem but will gather more data before getting the article up in shape.  
    As to underlined:  Slappy Hooper The Progressive Book shop here was so long getting me a copy that I began to think it would never come - but finally this last week it came along and I'm glad to say that the shop had ordered a stack of them - so they are on sale.  The book is nicely gotten up and the illustrations are really excellent.  I am going to send a review of the book to underlined:  World In Books which publication is quite widely circulated.
   I hope Crawford and Clugston will give you something - Especially Crawford should be able to direct you to some good Kansas humor -
