She seemed to take an interest in my swimming, criticised my overhand stroke, etc. so I hope to be a good swimmer by the time I get through there. Lots of people urged me to try diving but I couldn't get up sufficient nerve. Before we left a lot of little kids 9 and 10 years old came over from school. Nearly all of them could swim well and some of them could dive. One little girl about 9 and small for her age jumped off the spring board and off the high ladder into 9 feet of water without even so much as a thought of fear. Mrs. Wilson was much taken with the place and is going to get both a swimming and gym suit and join the Wed. married ladies gym class. I am going to be transferred to that class, as it is much more convenient than going in the evening. They have given me a locker in which I have deposited my gym shoes.
