Thought you'd find these notes of some interest, especially since like you I'm now

returning to where I first heard the thunder roll down in South Carolina. 

 I was in St. Louis for the recent NAACP confab and thought of you often when I'd

be passing "red square" about which you & I said we'd do some writing.
