Dear Sir: My Mother and I read an article about you in Sunday June 25 St Louis Post Dispatch. She found it especially interesting for she said she is sure she went to school with you. We are wondering if you are the same Jack Conroy. My Mother's maiden name was Margarite Halsey - she was born in Moberly and went to school there - I believe she lived on Randolph Street, she had a younger sister, Velma Opal Halsey. My Mother later married Gilbert Broeber and they moved from Moberly but she still talks so much of her home town. She was born Sept. 19, 1901 - my parents have a infant son buried in one of Moberly's cemeterys. sic
