  Do you understand what I'm saying?  You can kill people, you can slaughter them wholesale, you can deprive them of any hope of life, and there will be them among them who will still create.
    I don't know if this is the divine speck manifesting itself as part of an eternal display of defiance --  "Wrong forever on the throne, right forever on the gallows, yet that gallows sways the future" - - or if it is a conscious or subconscious or even unconscious reaction of that handful -- that saving remant [sic] history calls them .. in whom hope of the future, in whom the vision of a better, a more rational tomorrow, cannot be obliterated even when they know there is
