   Only because I am with bronchitis and in need of diversion do you get a letter with the cuttings.
   Local 15's dinner dance was a ball.  A real meat ball.
   The Platypus Party seems to be a outgrowth of my work in Isn'tism, the theory of aggresive [sic] neutrality expressed in terms of dialectical immaterialism.
   Today, for the first time in a long time, there is sunlight in San Francisco.  But still the wind.  For months, the wind has blown every day.  Maddening.
   Great furore, the "Crime Commission" has criticized our local flics and fur is flying.  Now headlines read "Alioto Sues Nixon."  About what I do not know but it is a bad day when thieves fall out.
  For my part, I'd rather sue the Pope.  he has more money.
