July 25, 1952 Dear Jack,

   Here's another letter for the pile on the diningroom table.
   I have returned BEHOLD, THY BROTHER to you under separate cover.   I read it while waiting for the bus and thought it an earnest little job.
   With this letter I send you a letter I received today.  I will write to them and accept their invitation.  If for any reason you think I ought [[underlined:  not] to accept it, please say so.  It sounds as if it might be helpful to me.  Please return the letter and tell me what you think.
   I was happy to find, upon returning here, that Hester Jill has nothing more serious than measles.  She was home from the hospital when I got here, much to my relief.
   I much enjoyed my brief Chicago visit, and I much thank you and Gladys for your hospitality.  Best regards to you both.  If you approve, I will see you February 26.
