7/18/70 Dear Fare Jack: 

Since there are 12 widows to one widower in Los Angeles, I spend my time in Arboretums &

Museums and stay away from the Sodom and Gomorrahs; Its here, but Philosophy best becomes any man over 50. 

I am sending an outline of the Ages of Man - I have produced with a Chicago friend, to whom, I

introduced to History. Today, he is fascinated with the subject. let me know, if you think anything should be Added or eliminated. 

Joe, my son, is in good health. This summer he is teaching a Summer Course in history at Louisiana

State Univ. at New Orleans. last year he was teaching at Lehigh Univ. in Penn. Next Fall he will be at the Univ. of Chicago.
