512 Greenfield Road Kansas City, Missouri May 13, 1975 Dear Mr. & Mrs. Conroy:

I'm sure you will think I'm off my rocker but I just have to write you. I'm sure I know you and yet I'm confused. I am a former

Moberly resident having lived there all my life until I married in 1935 and I came to K.C. do you remember a family by the name of Hammons? My father was Jeff Hammons and I'm sure he knew your Father. and if I'm not mistaken I am thinking your maiden name was Walker. I remember a Minnie B Walker and I am thinking she may have been your Sister. And then again I'm not sure. What was your maiden name? I read the article in K.C. star about Mr. Conroy and it said his wife's name is Gladys. I have an older sister by the name of Ann. She says she has some pictures taken when she was young and there is a Gladys in them but no last name. I've heard My Dad speak of Jack Conroy many times I also have a sister between me & Ann Her name is Bertha. I am Elsie (the youngest) And Im 62. Bert is 68 & Ann is 71. So I'll never be satisfied until I find out who you are. Ann lives here (Prairie Village)
