Dr. Zeh has engaged Dr. Quinn for me, an Irving Park M.D. who has a large practice, among a large share of it being child-birth cases. He had just got back from one when Doc went to see him. I'm glad you are having such good luck with your hens, Grandma. I wish I could see your plants. I know they are beautiful as you are always so successful with them. My conservatory is limited to two Boston ferns. One is rather thick and short, not very pretty, but the other is very graceful. I think the first one ought to be thinned out, but I don't exactly know how to go about it. Perhaps mother can give some suggestions when she comes. I got one of the T bandages cut out and basted up yesterday. Max brought me one of the government pamphlets on the prenatal care of children. It gives some very valuable hints as to the nursing of the mother, lists of articles necessary for a home confinement, etc. We are having lovely warm sunshiny weather and I think, Mummie, that you will be able to wear your thin dresses very comfortably. I hanker for the time when I shall be able to wear a thin dress without astonishing the populace. Heaps of love, Katharine
