2 management to turn in the people who were interested in union. Anyway, two or three months after an open meeting, five people who attended that meeting had left.

The man I work for now is attorney for the Ironworkers Union and handles the pension funds, the collective bargaining contract, the whole works. He is honest and a pretty good attorney. His father is a judge in the U.S. District Court.
Eldon and I have come a long way from riding freight trains but we're headed in the same direction. We now have a tent. It's called a prairie schooner and it has a sewn in floor and is mosquito proof which is quite an asset in these parts. We gave it a good workout on vacation, going first to Homer and then to Fairbanks and Circle. Circle is on the Yukon River about 60 miles from the Arctic Circle and it was a pleasant remote spot. We've added to our family - our dog had 11 pups and we took them all on the road with us. We now have four but as they get bigger they're quite a houseful. We have a big yard and they eat, chew on one another and play most of the time. We spent one week end hiking and prospecting and would like to get on back but Eldon has had a pain in his back since the last climb so we've been staying close to home. It will keep until we feel up to hiking again but since the price of gold is now $64- an ounce it is tempting to keep at it.
