4 the Marina in SF. Both our daughters will be here at Christmas which I am glad of especially since it will cheer Trudy up, who has had a very hard year. 

    I am on half-time this year and will be teaching only in spring quarter.  After that I will be fully retired.   I have been working on some projects with a man I am sure you know - David Roediger at U of Missouri, Columbia.   He edited the underlined:  Haymarket Reader several years ago, and he & several others were seeking to reconstitute the old Kerr publishing house in Chicago.  I don't know whether or not that effort has proved successful.
   Just a note on the two post cards:  Bodie is one of the best preserved Mark Twain type mine
