Mr. Jack Conroy,

   I hope that my letter is reaching the proper Jack Conroy, Author of "The Disinherited"   The phone company out there gave me this Address.
   I am writing you a letter of thanx.  A Thankyou [sic] for your life and for The Disinherited.  I am not yet finished reading your Stories.  At the moment you are in Detroit working At the Badger Motor Co. on the assembly line.  I am reading Very slowly So as to Savor every moment of the excitement and moods you have put down in writing.  Your use of words and the vocabulary is Just grand to me.  I'm going to Copy every page to learn what I can from your Writing.
   I hope you'll let me Be a little more personal and Call  you Jack.  I'm an Actor and I'm from Kansas.  Salina Kansas to be exact.  I have my education and I now live in New York City.
