note in pencil: Arts Club Laufman

Paris. 51, rue Boussingault 13th September 19-1926-

Dear Miss Roullier.

I was very disappointed to find that you had left Paris without coming out to see my work, but hope that that doesn't mean that you are simply indifferent. Won't you please let me know as soon as possible what the Art's Club can do for me in the way of a show this Winter, as I intend to leave here in November and it will be inconvenient not to know where I stand with regard to Chicago. It would be most strange that here in Paris, where my work is handled by some of the best modern galleries, including the Galleries Granoff, Girard, Dominique etc. and that it should be so coldly received, or not received at all in Chicago where I spent so many years at the Art Institute. In any case I hope to hear from you very soon and remain

Cordially yours Sidney Laufman
