note paper Oct. 20, 1950 Dear Mr. Conroy,

  Do you know where I can take out some yo-yo insurance?  Was just hit by one (accidentally) out in the playground.  Battered, but unbowed, that's me.
  Thanks, I took your advice and went to see Miss Langdon (a very pleasant lady) last Tuesday, bringing three stories along -- underlined:   Petey for Keeps & Just Right Lydie (short) and underlined:  The Seven Lucky Sweaters (a long story).
