the 8 - 12 group, a most neglected group of children according to Miss Bauerle of the Austin Branch Library. She told me more books are published for the smaller children and the teen-agers than for the middle group.

   Have you written any more folklore stories lately?  The children keep asking me when the author of "Slappy" and the "Sooner Hound" will bring out another book.
