February 4, 1948 Dear Mr. Conroy,

   If my sister can get away this month, she plans to go to New York and see some of the agents Mrs. Dickey kindly told her about over the telephone.   What Mrs. Dickey didn't know, however, was whether any of these agents would be interested in fantasy.  A great many publishing houses won't touch it with a ten-foot pole, and neither will some of the agents, I gather.
     Do  you know anything about the following, and whether they will be willing to read "fairy tales" ?
