about. I am busy with all sorts of things when I am not sewing, but I have plenty of time for my walks, reading, etc. Some afternoon soon, Mrs. Wilson, Nell Zay? and myself are planning to go and visit Mrs. Schleh, you know, the one who gave you and Jo Kaneko a reading. I haven't anything in particular that I care to find out about unless it were Max's business affairs and as they seem to be running very smoothly, I guess there is nothing to be feared for from? that quarter. But I never have had a reading in my life and just out of curiosity if for no other reason, I should like to go to her. I just now got a very friendly letter from Elaine, congratulating me and offering to come and keep house for me during my lying-in. Lord I'd just as soon have a hornet around as to have her! She is trying her best to get to Chicago and settle down with us and I suppose she thought this an excellent opportunity. It froze up last night and was pretty cold all day but not (4 p.m.) the sun is out and things look more cheerful. I'm afraid the "first robin" will get chilblains on his toes. I'm anxious to get out and start a flower garden so I hope the warm weather will hurry up. I'm so hectic to get a glimpse of you, Mummie, that I can hardly wait. I must stop now and mail this while out for my walk. Nellie is going to sell the piano so I expect we will get ours from the Bakers very soon. Heaps of love, Katharine
