Expect to call on Jo Kaneko for a few minutes Sunday. I have seen her only once or twice since we moved. Looked rather old and worn out on each occasion. I wonder how her mother (Grandma's friend) is? I'm glad your pullets appreciate their board and keep and give you plenty of eggs. We get very nice eggs from the grocery store. Much better than the ones obtainable on the south side. It is warm today and the 6 inches of snow which has covered the ground for a couple of weeks, is now melting. Am going to try one of the recipes in my new book today–cocoanut cake. I will be so glad when this divorce thing is straightened up and the strain in the atmosphere is relieved. With lots and lots of love, Katharine.
