NOV. 27 1972 Dear Jack.

   Enclosed a review of a Novel - said review by "Rev. Toots."  I'm sorry to tell you I have been in a very severe depression - and was 30 days in the lockt [sic] ward at VARH (333 E. Huron).  I am on several medications for Heart and blood pressure and ?wind?
   Mary is O.K. - but my troubles have been a burden, of course, indirectly.
   Will Write in a more cheerful vein next time.
