Mar. 8 1941 Dear Sherwood There is good observing stuff in Home Town–photographs (all photographs) are too factual for me but your writing is selective and keys up that which is essential for making drama as a story worth telling On pages 72-3–There I find a brief but true reference to the town poverty–and that is the great curse everywhere Poverty and the fear of poverty is what is the matter with the world. Just read that you are sick. I'm hoping its just a temporary–rest. Your friend Art Young
