28 March 1971 Dear Rev. TOOTS: Another Review by you - this time on a Realer subject than some of those drop/pants novels you were given Recently.

F J Walsh, Holy (?) Founder of NN favoured me with a visit recently. He brought fine Kosher Cornbeef from Brakerman's and I supplied him with 2 Doubles of Mary's 10 year old Fitzgerald.
Walsh has taken to Retirement like an Irishman To Alcoholism. He is still "in Control" on the tapioca - and "clean" in the Tobacco Reform.
Mary took the Santa FE Superchief to Albuquerque for a week with a married sister there. She had a great week on the Great American desert.
Merlin Bowen will be 1 year in Romania after July, probably. I'm having him look up Mrs. Sage "The Woman in Red" who took John Dillinger to his last Movie.
Gloria Swanson became 72 yesterday. Were you 2 classmates?

Joe Diggles (will be 64 come June 13)
