a little while before George Porter died he wrote me that he spoke to you and I believe Mrs Carpenter and he wrote me that you would like to show my things at the Arts Club. If this still holds what time do you suggest would be a good time to hold it in Chicago and to whom would I give the canvasses in New York for shipment I have done quite a few things landscapes also in the South of France around Cagnes and still life that I believe you will like - If you can let me know as soon as is convenient I can make arrangements to confirm with my exhibit in New York--.
