I simply wished you to understand that my devotion to true rebel poets and to radical verse in general is unchanged, except that I have lost some confidence in belief that the general public is really influenced by rebel verse - that's what I meant by asking who would care a century hence that Harry Harrison had published a Sacco-Vanzetti anthology? We don't even scratch the surface of public opinion in our appeals on behalf of political martyrs. You will see by the enclosed that I am to have two new books in April. I take it for granted you will mention these in your next Newsletter -- and it should be a glowing reference, to say the least, to counteract the bad taste exhibited by that derogatory publicity against a fellow Rebel Poet in your Dec.
