8/11/86 Dear Comrade Jack,

John Henry & I are camping in Alberta, Canada, north of Glacier National Park. Dig the Colonel's picture here, cold-eyed, steely looking, arrogant and a swaggering dandy for sure. The little white Rambo of his day. "Old iron ass," as his men called him, treated his dog better than them. And old Sitting Bull, Crazy Horse, and the boys ran him down just for sport like a hunted Buffalo. Don't let the bastards grind you down, etc. Cheers, Verle & John Henry
