  Yes, we are still in Washington at the same address.   I found your book underlined:  The Disinherited one day recently, at a paperback book store and bought it.  We haven't read it yet.  Of course we wouldn't mind a second autographed copy.  We are happy for you for the recognition it is getting.
  Phito has some good news, too.   Time, Inc. bought rights to a second edition of underlined:  The Beast of the Haitian Hills for the Time Reading Program.  It will come out next May.
  Ph. is hoping to get together with Pierre here in the states next year to finish the book they started at Yaddo that memorable summer of 1950 where they met you.
  Yes, we know Luce Turnier, lo these many years - last we knew from her she was living in Chartres - She is a good artist.  (over)
