in pencil thoby-MARCELIN Saturday Feb 10, 1951 Dear Jack,

Philo was so happy to have your letter. He is in NY. this week end to see Wilson and various other people. So before too much

time elapses I'm answering for him.

You will have received the photos we sent out to you. If they buckle, you might have them matted or whatever. Do you like them?
The autograph party was very good - The Whyte Bookshop was happy about it - They sold about 50 copies. And the reviews have

been very favorable except for one by Langston Hughes in the N.Y. Times of Feb 4th, which I thought quite personal and not too much about the book really. If any reviews come your way, would you clip them and forward to Philo? He'd appreciate it.

Philo will send you the first volume of Milo's book and will write Milo to send you a copy of the second volume directly.
We're looking forward to "Sam Patch" And when are you coming to Washington, Love from Eva
