There are birch trees on the hill, slight pretty things, some grow slowly like great oak trees. It is not for them to decide what will be, or how they will grow or when the seed will take or when they will wither and die. In life we have many burdens to bear, but that is not one of them. We do not know who will be born today, or who will die tomorrow. When a man's hour has come, he will go. You cannot stop a falling sparrow and neither can you take aim and hit one unless its hour has already come.
