about being "the last leaf on the bough." I started delving into family trees when I realized our daughter Bonghild's three boys have only underlined: one grandparent living [underlined: me]]! When their mother was born there were three great-grandmas, two grandmas and a grandpa all living in Northfield - My grandsons' paternal grandparents are also gone - strange as the eldest boy is only 11.

I hope you and Gladys are feeling better and are physically well. I know a part of you will never stop grieving and being lonesome but it has to become a way of life, just as death underlined: is a part of life and living. Loving makes the loss harder - but I would underlined: never not have loved as I have and do. And I am sure neither of you would have either.

All best. Eileen
