The Arts Club Chicago Ill. March 24-22 Dear friends: I wish to extend to the Arts Club my appreciation for the opportunity of seeing such a very fine and significant exhibition of art as that of Carl Sprinchorn. You are indeed to be congratulated on the exhibitions that are shown in your galleries. It makes one feel that after all there is a little leak, in the prison wall of this city, where fresh air, sunshine and life can get in. And these visions of and from another place are very bright spots in the life of one at least. The exhibition assembled by Forbes Watson gave me the greatest stimulus of anything so far this season. It is difficult in writing to express my reactions - but you may be sure they were on a high plane. I am wishing you all much happiness and place before you my humble note of deep appreciation. Yours most sincerely Raymond Jonson
