 I wonder if to cover the depression years one would not find himself eventually crawling through some kind of maze.   The War, "technocracy", the Atomic Age, Professor Keynes, the invention of plastics, the popularity of Liberalism, the Pill, the "new" morality, TV, the giant packaging industry, outer space travel, the recent surge of the black race to attain their Constitutional rights, Korea, Viet Nam, - somewhere back in those other years there lay the seeds of these enormous events!  As you seemed to say, there was more than one pot boiling.  A cousin of mine published a history of the northwest, and in there had a section on the banking business in those days, and
