those that feature a "pig pickin". There's an absolute dearth of cultural events unless you're into Gospel sings or the appearance of some country and western star from Nashville (pronounced Nay-esh-ville). 

Jack- I'd like some advice, please. I've had a few children's stories that I'd like to submit to a  publisher. Would you advise an *agent or sending them directly to a children's

magazine? 

Keep your chin up Gladys - I went through a hellish 3 years '65 to 68 with enough surgery to qualify me for a spare parts requisition - and somehow I'm still around and doing fine.
