she had the genius for making simplicity or even "cliché" distinctive. That gives me much to work towards, I agree. However, as to whether a poet should create according to his own rules, I believe he should first learn the rules of the master craftsmen before he makes his own.

  I am glad you think some of the verses are worth sending to the magazines you suggested.  This I shall do, hoping I select the right ones.
