Jewish restaurant in Whitehall, then back again to Brighton, and I saw them off at Gatwick, which is S.E.(Heath Row is S.W.) of London, about 25 miles. Had several days to myself in London, saw Dave Tullman twice over the 22 day visit. Meant to mention that we spent four days at Glendover, where breakfasts are great - lotsa very lean bacon, sausage and eggs (Essex don't buy 'em here now a/c high price). No talk of "petrol" shortage either. Not much rain, either. Gave the feature article about you to Mrs Harris in Boughton Monchelsea, also addressed a calendar to you, which may take a month or more to reach you.
A cab from O'Hare to my joint could cost 6 or more bucks. C T.A., which I rode upon returning, costs 75 cents, and you should ride that way when you come here.
There are about 9 locations where C.T.A. buses stop outside O'Hare - many workers who have no cars use this transportation. Be sure to get a transfer; the bus goes to Jefferson Pk. terminal, then you go down to the "L" station (hanging onto transfer), get off at Irving Park Road station, transfer to east-bound bus after stamping transfer upstairs. Get off at Western and I'm only a few blocks north Regards - MEAD
