Dear Mr. Conroy,

  I received the magazines and then passed them on to Mary Redding.  She is making her copies and said she would return them to you with a letter.  I would like to send back this clip before I lose it and also some copies of it I had made so you will have some to mail to other students, saving your own copy fro forgetful people like myself.  Mrs. Redding has her copy too.  Thank you for all the material and time and money sending it out here.  Also for your comment on the American Communists and where I could read more on it, that was another question.
  After reading Dr. Fried's "The Worker as Writer" I have decided I like his answer to where you might have gone at the end of underlined:  The Disinherited.  At one time I felt you might have taken part in some move with the unions, but his answer was much better.  Could I ask about the character Hons though?
