phone that I'd drop by for one night, and how lucky you are!
My son was here for about ten days (HER IDEA), mainly at Whiting, where his wife's large army of relatives lives.
I did see him several times, when we ate out. He is much like his maternal grandfather, I'm glad to see.
As I'm hooked on English tea, was glad to receive some from Mrs. Harris, my wife's oldest friend in Boughton Monchelsea,
also some from my wife's sister, and a small Christmas pudding and biscuits (crackers etc.), which are excellent, also some Scottish shortbread. I ate at home (no turkey, (on Christmas) just chuck steak and some good mince pie - boughten, of course), as holidays long ago ceased to have meaning, though my wife made the festive part good, had a good old country spirit.
Alas, the S Fe. told me when I went to get a lot of calendars again, no more, except for stockholders. Back in Chicago
by month's end. Regards, - Mead.
