Ap. 24 '67 Dear Jack,

Very happy to hear about your award. Congratulations. I saw the paperback at Tony Monahan's house but have not yet gotten my copy.
Monahan is asst. editor of the Tribune Sunday Magazine, a nice young guy who says I write better than Milton Eisenhower who will soon have a pile of Republican crap in the Sunday Mag.
I am leaving for Tangier, Morocco on May 7 and Donna and I would like to have you and Gladys over for dinner any evening before that if you could make it. Tony Monahan & his wife Bea would come also, and Monahan is anxious to meet you.
If you can make it give Donna a ring at the pet shop LI9-2031 (2222 N. Clark St) anytime, or call us here evenings 327-3596, We're at 2924 N. Burling.
Hope to see you for a supper evening. I may be eaten by a lion and never see you more. My piece comes out May 7.

Best, Frank
