Dear Jack and Gladys -
1975 will be, I hope, my last year on the job. June 1 is my goal as a retirement date. After that Zena and I plan to build on our property on Exuma, one of the Bahama Islands, and try living in a less crowded, less polluted, quieter environment. Helen Biebel, who lives in Miami and is a part-time librarian, sent us the tear sheets from a library journal which carried an article by Jack Conroy on Anna Bontemps plus some biographical data on the author. It is good to know that the sage of Moberly, Mo. is giving out words of wisdom of his own in addition to the prepared travelling directions for keeping potential sinners on the straight and narrow path. But all kidding aside, we are looking forward to 1975 as a year of venture. If successful, our mailing address will be somewhere on the isle of Exuma. We'll let you know.
The very best to you both. Dorry (and Zena)
