Dear Mr Davison 

   Many thanks for check - [?] up and getting the Vanity Fair thing untangled.
   The typist will be at the story today.  It should be corrected and on its way in a week.   It is a murder story called "A Jury ?."   I should think it might go at a good price to your popular magazine ? like Liberty.
   If not The Mercury would like it, I'm sure
