(as far as I was premited to know) from begining untill I inlisted and wonder how many old matters have been settled up. some of them not as satisfactory as might be desired I fear but a soldier has no right to be thinking about business at the present state of our Country. as for myself I expect to remain in the Army prehaps a number of years yet. sometimes there seems but little inducement but the circumstances would be very agrivating indeed that would cause me to resign. I see no prospects of my being disgrace fully [mustard?] out of the service unless some one should take offence at the plain remarks I make about Northern Traitors and Abolitionist.
