 It is a shame they sent the piece in the paper. They do that sort of thing.

I wish that ?ite it there had come some of the things you said in your letter - about how the painter - a real one really feels.

 It is due sometimes to a kind of diert buruwility too. This reason - this artist - they think - having

been told some such thing - lives in a strange rarified atmosphere.

 This gives the little talkers? such a ? chance - they all set themselves up.
 The man who couldn't possibly be cald a second rate horse? will fall for any kind of

second rate painting.
