 The Protestant & catholic churches wrecks many of the houses in the county ruined - The Stores all down Town more or less injured with their goods - the Exchange has suffered much one-half of the flooring gave way -  The Whole of the Strand one Scene of devastation & was Strewed with Rafters - Timbers - & ? of the house slewed round one way or another & many gutted - particularly those on the Sea side
   The Wharfs much injured - The Barque "? 'Fanchel' ? off the Ft. has Stood it out bravely - The San Bernard got on shore - the Brig Atlantic after a Severe bumping against McKenneys Wharf got a ground - The Maria Elizabeth [[? "Prize ? Schooner" on shore - Samptons House washed away & his Pilot boat foundered - Many smaller Craft & boats Smashed
