15 lager beer, cold tongue & nuts will form the repast who will get beaten; quien sabe? July 12th whist party came off- I was triumphant. Capt & Mrs Freemen paid me a visit & looked at the house - admired our neat housekeeping - told unclear things looked better when you controlled unclear etc. 

  took a walk & met Miss Nuper; Miss Bronson & Mrs McChesney making their last visits etc.

They all go down on the Newbern - Kind regard to ? & the Bride - & all friends both in ?
